Have been catching up with people on bebo lately, I was a bit slow on the uptake of this internet trend ¡V only just got a page. Only gripe would be the stupidity of the search function (oh how much help being able to include age or location would be.) and that people write there names like ƒº**+sOm3 rAnDom niC nAmE**+ƒº not there actual name so you can¡¦t find them anyways. It is very interesting to see where/how people I knew from school ended up. Few are over seas, some have had kids, and others don¡¦t seem to have changed at all. One didn¡¦t even remember me!. But they are all leading normal standard lives , which is reassuring given that often have a nagging feeling that I have missed out on some of the excitement to be had at this age. Also interesting to talk to some of the people who you thought had a great time in high school, the ¡¥popular / cool / pretty ¡¥girls. Finding out that, like me, at times they truly hated it there too. Something to be learnt there. The pictures on people¡¦s profiles often ¡¥speak¡¦ more truth than there comments about what there lives are like and if they are happy. One never refers to being gay or her girl friend/partner in text but posts pictures of the two of them looking ¡¥couple ¡Vish¡¦. Another doesn¡¦t comment on the challenges of being a young mom but the photos of her show that it can take its toll.
